FREE self-assessment tools

As part of our efforts at the EduEvidence, and in collaboration with researchers at the International Centre for EdTech Impact, we have developed a series of self-assessment tools to promote open knowledge sharing and support the creation of public goods that can strengthen the broader EdTech ecosystem by making evidence-informed decision-making more accessible to all providers.

These tools are designed to help EdTech solution providers become familiar with the criteria across five evaluation categories, assess their current standing, and receive preliminary feedback before formally applying for certification. Upon completion, the respondents receive a customized report that outlines their scores across the individual dimensions of the rubric, along with suggestions for improvement. The aim is to encourage EdTech organizations to strive for higher standards by providing them with targeted, constructive feedback.

Whether you’re seeking to qualify for efficacy or effectiveness certification, this tool will guide you in understanding which level and category best align with your product’s impact and evidence.

Please note: This self-assessment tool — similar to our comprehensive evaluation rubrics — automatically tailors the questions based on your organization’s stage of maturity. We differentiate between early-stage (e.g., startup) and more advanced (e.g., Series B and beyond) organizations to ensure a proportionate and fair opportunity for achieving positive scores, reflecting where each organization stands in its growth and development cycle.
