Why EduEvidence

The global benchmark for trusted EdTech.
EduEvidence is the only truly global certification that unifies and elevates all EdTech quality standards.

We go beyond simple claims of “evidence-based” — providing a neutral, transparent, and holistic assessment of impact, ethics, cost-effectiveness, and inclusivity.

Recognized where it matters

EduEvidence certifications are recognized in global markets by policy makers, school districts and state procurement teams.

In addition to that, we collaborate with key players close to the schools you want to reach, and they make sure your Eduevidence certification is visible where it matters the most.

  • Asia – through our partnership with EdTech Marketplace.
  • Europe — through our partnership with e.g. Skolon, integrating certified solutions across schools and educators.
  • United States — via Clever and ClassLink, reaching over 110,000 schools and 60% of K–12 students monthly through the EdTech Index.

This means your certification is visible and trusted by the decision-makers who matter most — teachers, school leaders, and procurement bodies.

What certified companies say

#10. Certifications show the world that you care about your product’s impact.

What is the Certification Process?

Our full Certification Process has six simple steps:

1) The organization fills out a form indicating the desired Level of Award (Bronze, Silver, or Gold) and Area of Impact (EFFICACY, EFFECTIVENESS, EQUITY, ETHICS, and ENVIRONMENT), including key documentation as supporting evidence.

2) EduEvidence selects an appropriate validator from our College of Reviewers. Validtors are qualified PhD researchers from prestigious organisations trained in educational evaluation studies, and familiar with EduEvidence criteria.

3) The validator confirms that there are no conflicts of interest.

4) The organization pays an administrative fee of 250 USD, which cover our maintainance costs.

5) The validator makes a recommendation for Level of Award and Area of Impact, if they find alignment between the presented form and our consolidated benchmarks. If there’s no such alignment, then they may suggest conducting further research.

6) If the validator recommends it, EduEvidence will issue the certification assets, which include an official certificate, a badge of recognition, and entry into our global list of independently certified EdTech products.

If you’d like to pursue certification, but your product hasn’t been the subject of any evidence-based research yet, please contact us and we’ll suggest an appropriate research partner to support you!
